Don’t post very often, but thought I’d share my Mums “ little adventure”. We were invited to a cousins 50th Birthday celebrations, transport options were a 6/7 hour drive or 1 hour flight........after a lot of discussions we persuaded Mum to fly ( she wasn’t too keen) but I said the worst that can happen is , we can’t get onto plane or we get on and you can’t transfer to seat, if that happens we’ll just come home. Off we went, staff at Newcastle and Southampton airports were amazing and as you’ll see from here photo Mum survived. So ....... up yours CBD 🥳🥳

Well done! Love your last comment!!
When hubby and I went to UK in 2013 I arranged wheelchair transport at all airports, much to his disgust! They went out of their way to be helpful! We needed it at Singapore when he suddenly found himself unable to think normally while packing up after an overnight stay.
Where there is a will, there is a way! Good on you all for making those great memories!
Love the photo!

Lol ours was just a mini trip compared to yours Jen. X
It just proves CBD is only a target to grind down and just carry on.Well done and keep going. Even the mysterons got there!
Maybe I was Captain Scarlett 😂😂
Wonderful photo and I am glad you decided to travel instead of "It's to much work" and staying home.

It was definitely worth it and a lovely surprise for my mums niece, who’s 50th it was xx
Wow! I am sure she will enjoy the 50th birthday even more basking in the thought “I could do it” a thumbs up to you for having the courage to take her and manage it all. Lots of love, Nergesh
Than you it was definitely worth it xxx
Fabulous - looks absolutely worth all the effort - these are precious memories you are making. Even the manicure you thought of everything well done- inspiring.
Love Tippy
Thank you Tippy, definitely worth it for the memories xx
Fabulous, so glad you were all able to make it and doesn't it do you good to find out that there are kind, thoughtful and helpful people out there. I've lost count of the people that have dashed across pavements to open doors for me, offered help when getting Mum in & out of the car, etc etc.
Hope it inspires you to more adventures with Mum.
Thank you yes it did restore my faith in humanity 😉. Will have to think of what our next adventure can be xx
Bed,
Thanks for sharings. I often forget about the little successes focusing on the daunting mountain of CBD/PSP. It is great reminder of the small joys in life on the journey.
Blessings,
Bobby
