A sudden change

Hi all

It's not been a great day for dad.

We have moved to morphine injection as dad started vomiting up old blood this morning. Which has put him in a lot of pain. All the grandchildren are heading home as dad is not expected to last the weekend, feeling a bit overwhelmed

I am so sorry to hear that. Make sure you talk to him, about anything, so he knows people are with him.

Let her talk to him and hold his hand and give her time to say goodbye? I know when my children were there I did the brave woman act. I actually had to ask my daughter to leave me alone with my husband so I could talk to him. Then I was able to be me! I was able to say goodbye. She needs to do that so much as you love her allow her the time and space to do it? You will all have your own ways of dealing with this very sad situation.

Thinking of you and sending prayers to you and all the family.

Ryder, I'm so very sorry: Although you welcome the end of your dads suffering, it is heartbreaking to lose him. You have done your very best. God bless him, and take care of yourself now.

Hugs for this difficult time XXX
