Your blogs are interesting to read ... a true glimpse into the life and mind of a PSP patient. I appreciate your style of writing ... as if I was sitting across the table with you.

My dad wrote his own book about his life. What a legacy. Most enjoyable is that he wrote it as if he was telling us a story around the fireplace. Your family must be so grateful for your thoughts and words!

Was the story about life with PSP or was it more of a memoir?

Grateful to say that it was not life with PSP. I have only been introduced to PSP through my husband. Dad had a pretty “normal” life .. the book was just his opportunity to let us kids know about his upbringing, his thoughts, his philosophies, his loves, his griefs ... things that may not have had an opportunity to be shared. He finished the book before my mother died ... and then added his last chapter. He had always said that we (the four kids) needed to write the final chapter ... I’m proud to say that I did that for him. 😔

Tim you are doing so well. I am amazed you are still doing your yard work. Wish I could hire you! I would promise to feed you ice cream all day! 😁. You are my hero. Well one of them. The other is Patrick aka Bargie Pat. If we could package a small proportion of your determination and sprinkle it on the rest of us life would be easier to face. It's a tough road and very tough indeed for some.

Glad you have contact still with Mike's family. That is rare I think. Most people lose contact because they want to forget about PSP. I know I will never forget it as I feel I owe it to all the amazing people who have been or are going through it and their families. It is the least I can do?

By the way PTSD is something a lot go through after PSP, CBD, MSA. Carers are just forgotten afterwards I think. Your church sounds very special. I know your faith means a lot to you despite all you have been through. God Bless you Tim and keep those legs moving!

Lots of love and hugs to you and Trish. Love your blog so much. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

Hi Marie,

Pat is often on my mind. I love his determination and the pics he posts. As far as the yardwork goes, I have my own union that allows me breaks every 5-10 minutes. Oh... by the way, I'll work for ice cream (:

What a wonderful read. Thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving! I will be 78 on that day.

Timothy what are you like? 😁. Working for ice cream indeed. What would your great Union make of that?

Looking at the Memorial Service from Manchester Cathedral for those who died 12months ago in the bombing after the Ariana Grande concert. Hard to believe it is already that long ago? Our Cathedral had a service too but I couldn't face it. I can't cope with funeral services or memorial services since G died. Maybe one day I will? I am worse now than I was when he died. I suppose then I was glad he wasn't suffering anymore. Now I just miss him so much.

So my ice cream buddy you are very special. You are one of life's sharers. You have a totally kind heart. We saw that with your friendship with Mike. You helped him a lot. I know you miss him so much.

Please send me a message anytime you are feeling low. It is the least I can do for a special man. You and Patrick show us how life should be lived. If I can learn something from you both then you have both left a legacy? If more learn from you both maybe just maybe, we can spread the word about PSP, CBD, MSA?

Hugs and love to you and Trish.
