A little giggle

Scenario - husband doing his 20 min session on reclining bike along with using hand weights.

All done and he is standing behind the recliner for ages. I ask what is wrong and he says "My foot is under the weight and I can't get it out" . Can't help it I start laughing then he does too. then manages to free his foot, just read out to him what I wrote and we are giggling again. Guess you have to be here .

That reminded me of times we have laughed - hubby and I - when we're in a situation that suddenly is so ridiculous: particularly when he's trying to articulate something and I'm guessing one thing after another "Poke?? something poking you? No? Pope? the Pope is on tv? No? Pork? You want pork for dinner..??" aauuuggghhh....!!! You'd think he'd erupt with frustration but sometimes he just starts giggling... ;-)

Good to smile... :-)

This is we have been doing this morning,, trying to tell me something starting with the ( letter S ) , after trying to guess a number of times, we both end up laughing. ... its the PSP. Game of I spy...another game is PSP twenty questions. ....Brenda. .

Hi Brenda

I dread that Q&A game sometimes. Liz has a propensity to change what it is a few times along the way. Once she said 'something' was very very important - It took over forty minutes and still I didn't get it. The next day I made a guess and got it first time. It wan't so important after all. Arghhh!

But it amazing how much communication can be done with just eye blinking or a squeeze.

Grab the giggles wherever and whenever you can. We all laugh at silly things, just because PSP comes into our lives, doesn't make us turn into grownups!

Lots of love

Thanks for the laugh. We are in a phase where it is getting harder for me to understand my wife. She is also getting a little more demanding of me, and I am getting a little more frustrated and stressed. About three times a day, we go all Taylor/Burton on each other for about 20 seconds, and then we just break down laughing. Thank God we are laughing. Our kids think we are losing our minds, but we're just having fun.

Regards, Dick
