DLB disease ,wonder if it has anything to with hallucinations in CBD and psp
Hi Dee,
No wonder the dx get these diseases mixed up! They do start to look all the same. Actually our tertiary Neuro at UBC, when I asked the inevitable "what will happen" question said "at a certain point toward the end, they all (neuro diseases) look the same anyway, so..."
Cognitive loss has declined noticeably since last fall - but no "dementia" as I would call it yet. (Will we be lucky enuff to say, ever,??..) Still knows who he is & where he is. Does one thing after another very slowly, returning to the couch to sit down and regroup after each thing. Puts on a jacket (with great difficulty) at 9am because he knows that somewhere in the following sequence of tasks we will go outside and have some lunch in the car and I'll shop.
So heartbreaking: this is an intelligent, dynamic man - who lead organizations - and is struggling to think of the simplest rhings in order now..😓
... But rereading this post, I'll focus on the positive in it, since Ive just had some respite and am refreshed: He can stand and sit, he knows who he is and who I am, he can eat and is mostly continent, - he is alive

I agree with eastencedar
I really haven't dealt with my husband having hallucinations but I have read on our wonderful site that there are others who are searching for answers.Just thinking maybe outside the box.

Hello Jill,Glad to see your still checking in,hope this finds you well.
Dee
Whem i click on the link it says page not found.
Wanted to ask u about vision difficulties...double, not moving eyes side to side or sometimes up and down and sometimes saying he cannot see
Not sure why it didn't open for you.it open for me in another page, meaning you have to leave healthunlock.
If you go to the top left and hit more it will give you a search tab and in that place your questions. Or start a post and put those questions in the box of give your post a title.
My husbands eyes are light sensitive and he can't see down very well, very common for psp.
Dee

Thank u i will try that
