My husband wears Tena pants at night but finds them uncomfortable and turning over is difficult - has anybody any suggestions of how best to deal with this please

My husband hated wearing anything round his waist and took pants off.

Using a convene at night helped, although he still took that off in the morning if I wasn't quick.

I never found a complete solution. He said he didn't know he was doing it.

Hello doglington

My husband was shown convenes sometime back when the first signs of incontinence appeared but decided definitely that he would not wear them, but thank you for the thought

My hubby has only recently agreed to Tena pants at night and I know it took a while to get used to them. I have to say I insisted and we had many a battle over them but It is a huge help - though my bed changes are now like a formula 1 pit stop!!!

You can also get nappy type pads that have tape on either side which may be more comfy they are bigger than Tena but soft.

Wishing you success in your night tumecontinence routine

Tippy - I am just at the stage where he doesn't really think that he should be wearing anything at all and if I could foresee whether he was going to use it it would be a great help but often as not pants have to be discarded not used and now this is happening every night, so if I could have the name of the larger ones I would be most grateful.

Dear Jenny

So sorry for not responding sooner I think they are just called adult nappies.

It has taken a long time for my husband to agree to where pull ups a frustrating battle!!

Good luck

Xx

I have used a slide sheet or you could use a satin type material pillow case, they work for to move my husband in to bed.hope you find what works for you.
