Sounds like peripheral neuropathy. While I am not sure how common this is with CBD specifically, it is common with other parkinsonism disorders like MSA. I would suggest discussing with your doctor but you might try lidocaine or Capsaicin ointment if it gets really painful before that. Also try to avoid hot water.

Hi David, it's also worth asking for your iron levels to be checked, as iron over load can cause pain in the pointing and middle fingers (it's known as 'iron fist'). It's commonly overlooked, but iron can be a cause of neurodegeneration. Of course it may be unrelated, but it tends to be one of the things I suggest looking in to because my family has two faulty iron storage genes, and I've been shouting for ages about this, but no doctor seems interested in talking about it with me. My dad has PSP and his iron has been high for years so I'm avidly reading everything I can, as I have the genes AND high iron too and I've just been diagnosed with haemachromatois, but I have no symptoms at all. Had I not read up on iron and asked for my levels to be checked, I wouldn't have known

Hi David,

My husband has PSP and was having tingling, burning pain in his arm. His hospice nurse/physician started gabapentin 300 mg at bedtime. This did not help. The med was increased to gabapentin 300 mg in the morning and 900 mg at bedtime. He responded very well and says he has had no pain since that time.

my husband has tingling, pain in his whole body. All the doctors don't understand it with PSP. He does take the gabapentin also and it does help.
