Does anyone have experience with Exelon capsules and if so how did it help, if it did?

I didn't know it came in capsules. My dad was prescribed a patch. Within a couple days he was complaining of headache. They started giving him Tylenol. Within a few more days he was holding his head and asking for pain meds. I stopped the patch right then. I don't know if that was the problem or if it was a combination of that with his other meds because the Neurologist finally stopped all meds to see if the pain would stop. They did a CT scan and nothing had changed. The pain finally eased and we opted to not use the meds. The side effects we're not worth going through for the minimal benefit he was getting. Watch side effects closely on all meds and determine if the benefits outweigh the side effects. I'm now going through the same thing with my mom and dementia. I have no intention of letting side effects keep her from enjoying her life. Good luck.

Our experience was with my mother in law as an Alzheimers patient - It was Horrible!!! Sorry - combative , hallucinations 😑

How long was she on it before she had those 2 side effects? Did she change to something else? thank you
