Has anyone had any success with vitamins and supplements. My husband is 54 and just been diagnosed in January of this year.

He has chose to get off most of his medicines and go the natural way. He is already using a cane and having difficulty swallowing. This is so upsetting to us. He has only been having problems for three years. And he has went down hill fast. And no one knows what this is. Even doctors and nurses. Feel all alone.

Dear Terrirt

Has your husband actually been diagnosed with PSP because you say the doctors and nurses do not know what it is or do you mean that they do not understand what is going on now.?

As far as vitamins and supplements are concerned, my husband has been taking something called Nutrition for the mind or Brain food, supplements by someone called Patrick Holford and he has been taking them for years. In my opinion they have done nothing for him except perhaps keep his general health up which is no bad thinG.

If your husband feels that the vitamens are doing him good, why not let him continue to take them, after all the medical profession have not got any answers to PSP.

Take care

Thank You Dorothy, What I mean is that his Neurologist nows about his condition but his heart doctor and Primary care Physician had never heard of it. He just started his supplements 3 weeks ago so it is too early to tell. He is on a couple of supplements for the brain also.

Thank You

Hi Christine, thanks for sharing that yahoo groups link, I have requested to join the group so I can see it also. Hoping I might be able to use it with my mum who has CBD, she is only 59 so I'm trying to explore every option available to help slow down the disease
