I have also read that this condition cannot be detected from an MRI scan, however on our very first visit to Tony's PSP specialist he produced a model of a brain and although I am unable to remember all the technical jargon he did point out an area deep in the mid brain that shows as having reduced in size which he explained, as well as other symptoms, is typical in someone with PSP. We had visited 3 other neurologist, privately, who had also preformed MRI scans and when I questioned why they had not picked up on this he explained it was very difficult to detect if it was not their area of expertise!

As someone said it could be that Tony has not reached that stage of having falls.

Its been great to join in after being a spectator for so long, feel like I know you all.

Thanks again
