Changing from HIFU to Chryotherapy...UCLA Dr Marks has decided to go with Chryo Feb 22nd. Anyone had this procedure?

I know some guys who've had it. It is important that you understand the risks of this experimental therapy. Read this first:

Marks is my urologist too. But how many focal cryos has he done? If, after reading that, you still want focal cryo, I suggest you see Duke Bahn in Ventura (or whoever has taken over for him if he has retired) who has done more than anyone else.

I suggest you speak to Amar Kishan at UCLA about SBRT too before deciding. They have a clinical trial of focal SBRT too, but it has many of the same drawbacks.

You really should get second opinions from (a) an sbrt specialist, and (b) an oncologist.
