What advice does anyone have about dealing with the urination that happens during anal sex?

Since the Kegel muscles are the primary source of remaining continent during daily life, how is that urinary continence impacted when engaging in anal sex as the sub? How do you handle the leakage? Thanks in advance for your help.

A few tips I've picked up about controlling climacturia from support groups:

• Restricting fluids for a few hours before sex, especially coffee, tea, Coke, alcohol and fruit juices

• peeing before sex (sit down and rock around or in the shower - whatever it takes to fully empty the bladder)

• a constriction band around the base of the penis (also helps maintain erection)

• lay down on your back and don't change position

• use a condom

• get rubber sheets, and just enjoy water sports

Unfortunately, I suspect that ED meds (like Cialis) may make it worse.

I never had a prostatectomy, so it has never been an issue for me.

In the first two years after a radical prostatectomy, I wore a jock strap with a pad in the pouch to absorb leakage during anal sex . But even when masturbatung solo, I would still leak urine while climaxing. (I believe the term is "climacturia.") To be truthful, I found that this was erotic to some partners. But after 2 years. I grew tired of constantly changing Depends pads, so I have recently had a urinary sling installed. Even after 14 days, the improvement in not leaking is remarkable; I look forward to becoming at least 99% continent, if not 100%.

Thanks for sharing. How much leakage did you have during anal sex? How did anal sex affect your ability to be continent under normal conditions?
