May need more treatment

Been a while since I was on here. Had proctectomy, then a couple years later radiation.

Now Oncologist and Radiologist are suggesting SBRT for some as they say miniscule

spots. I would appreciate any thoughts on this perspective and what others have experienced with this treatment.

Thanks.

Your bio doesn't say how old you are. If you're not in your latter 70s, I would ask about cryosurgery. The long term side effects of radiation are not pleasant, difficulty urinating, TURs, leaking, etc. The longer you can postpone radiation the better.

How many spots, where, and identified by which kind of imaging? (your profile is empty)

As my radiologist said they are near spine and aorta (?). Very miniscule. Identified by PETscan. Does that help? PSA .85, and I am 77 years old.

Not really helpful. Is the one "near" the spine a bone metastasis or not? Which vertebra? I assume the other is in the para-aortic lymph node. Identified by a PSMA PET/CT, I assume?
