today’s appointment with the oncologist

well had a lot to take in today but was left feeling positive, basically from today I start taking Bicalutamide 150mg tablets for a month , I will get a CT scan then have 23 radiotherapy sessions, all was explained regarding bowel & bladder, side effects etc, I asked a lot about what I will go through and what to expect, one daft question I didn’t ask, why 23 sessions? Not important really,

Well I feel mentally better knowing I have a plan and it’s in progress, any advice on dealing with this would really be appreciated,

Sorry it came to this but I'm glad that like me you also feel better when a new treatment plan is in place.

Glad you are feeling better with a plan in place. Do you know if the planned SRT is to just the prostate bed, or wider area to include lymph nodes? Good luck, I gather resistance/ weight training is good too for the ADT side effects.
