I've been taking Bicalutamide hormone therapy tablets to lower my PSA levels prior to radiotherapy treatment. My Consultant asked that I also have a one of shot of another ADT (in addition to the tablet) immediately prior to start of RT.
Since I had the shot ( 4 days ago) my IBS seems worse than ever - it's very bad anyway. Terrible diarrhoea, cramps etc. Can't work out of there isn't connection or not.
Anyone else had similar experience please?

After my first Firmagon(ADT) shot I became very ill. I spent 3 days mostly in bed with massive diarrhea, fatigue etc. Thereafter, as Firmagon is given monthly, not quarterly, I would have less of a reaction, but in every case would miss work the day after receiving the shot, then bounce back quicker. My RO said that was rare, but a nurse told me it was not so rare.
No long term effects, I needed to lose weight and it sure helped and each shot was a little better(first, the worst).
Thank you for getting back. Yes, I feel more fatigued than usual (and I already have M.E./CFS) and I still suspect the diarrhoea was related to the shot. That shot was a one-off so hopefully I shan't have to go through that again
