18....24.... or 26 mo adt?

I was dx 05/20 with t2a; GL 7 N0M0 11 of 12. I started adt 09/20. I had RT 300gy x 20 - 01/21. The attached chart shows my psa trend. I plan to meet with my uro tomorrow. The original tx called for 24 mo of adt. I am at 21 mo now. (Lupron)

My question is: shall I stay on for another 3 mo or have I had sufficient adt?

Of course, stay on it if you can bear it. You have high risk PCa and 26 months of adjuvant ADT has been shown to be optimal:

Thanks Allen, I've read discussions on the various lengths of treatment and wanted your input. I have a question about my psa. Is that a good response for RT + adt? I was hoping for a nadir below .1 but seem to be bottomed out there. Is that typical for us fellows who still have our prostate?

It's not <0.1? I don't know why. Maybe discuss adding Zytiga for the next 5 months.

No, they have not designated <. Small town lab - maybe they don't understand the significance. I'll quizz my MO.

There is a general problem with numbers in your neck of the woods. If you have had 300Gy x 20 I doubt you would be able to post today. 3.00 x 20 and it is already too much.

As I understand 300gy x 20 = 6000gy or 60GY. I do live in Penn's woods. Love it here!

If your ADT drug is working, stay the course and milk it for all it's worth.

I'm willing to do that. Treatment was intended to be curative. I'm just trying to find out the optimum jumping off point.

Curative is not a word we use. The best we hope for is remission. Hopefully, long term remission.

My RO used that word in my treatment plan. I fully understand the pernicious nature of the beast. I'm just hoping for a treatment response similar to TA's. He appears to have been "cured". Just sayin,
