He retired, I think Mitch Kamrava at Cedars is excellent!

Dr Chang replaced Demanis when he retired. I highly recommend him-- he did my HDR-Brachy with great results. His tel: [phone].

Dr. Chang did my HDR Brachytherapy too, but I certainly didn't like the bait and switch BS he and his office pulled on me regarding the SpaceOAR gel.

Are you looking for followup IMRT? Dr Einck in San Diego did mine (25x/40gy). Highly recommend him. I didn't have any problems with SO, Chang did a good job placing it.

Not looking for followup IMRT, looking for another RO...just not really that comfortable with Dr. Chang because of that issue.

I've heard several complaints about Chang's manner from patients, so I stopped recommending him. Kamrava was mentored by Demanes but decided to go to Cedars. I've met with Mitch many times, and he is the best!

I just checked and Dr Kamrava isn't in my network. Who are your top 3 Radiation Oncologists? They can be out of state.

For HDR brachy? There's Joe Hsu at UCSF, Alvaro Martinez in Detroit, and Eric Horwitz at Fox Chase.

I looked online and didn't see Dr. Kamrava, but I just called my insurance company and he is in my network. Who would you pick out of the 4?

Well, I know Kamrava, so I'm biased. I'm sure they can all do an excellent job.
