0.03 ng/ml PSA test

I normally get an ultra sensitive PSA test with Quest Diagnostics and it has been <0.02 for the last 2.5 years. I recently had a PSA test at my doctors office last week during my annual physical and he uses Primex Labs. I think this was NOT an ultra sensitive test and my PSA came back at 0.03. Would there be a difference between an ultra sensitive test and a normal PSA test that could cause that change? I am now on an every 6 month PSA test regiment.

That is an ultrasensitive test (measures hundredths), but different lab results can vary. They aren't significantly different, and it is not at a level that calls for action anyway.

Just had my PSA rechecked by Quest Diagnostics. <0.02 ng/ml. There is a major difference between Labs and machines!
