I am on Lupron Depot since the end of May 2020 and I noticed that the size of my testicules seems to change daily.
They go from normal size then they shrink to small olive size.
Then they get back to almost normal and play yo-yo.
My last test showed PSA 0.18 ug/L and testosterone <0.2nmol/L or <5.7684ng/dL.
So the ADT seems to work.
Next test this comming Tuesday.
Anubody had that situation?
I don’t know about fluctuating size BUT testes becoming much smaller is a very common side effect of testosterone suppression
My whatcha used be, but have seemed to have disappeared.
Does this make me "qualified" eunuch ? ????
As mentioned, genital atrophy is common side effect of ADT. Uncertain if genitals ever return to pre-treatment size. Have not heard of fluctuating change in size of testicles. Mine shrank (along with penis length and girth. Ugh.) Unfortunately, my docs never mentioned this little detail and, although I had read about it, I definitely was not prepared for the impact this would have on my perception of myself.
Btw, you might want to try a penis pump and regular doses of sildenafil and/or tadalfil (Viagra and Cialis). Unfortunately, since ADT causes less (or no) interest in sex, it's difficult to maintain a routine of using a pump or even caring about any of this.

Simply amazing what they forget to tell you!!! Shrinkage is a fact and not just on a Seinfeld episode...... and it didn’t take long to happen either!!!
To make a short story long (.!.). If any readers here are experiencing this, start penile rehabilitation ASAP (as described by Ed above). I’m no stranger to and was comfortable in a locker room..... thus considered myself average. When you end up with one nut up inside of your stomach and an innie for a penis.... innie = we’re talking about stretching it out so your pee doesn’t run down your ball sack....and this, all of a sudden after 62 years of normal.... you “might” be on ADT.
Not even so much as for interest in sex but for the potential of deformities caused by atrophy!!! Also, in answer to your uncertainty of genitals returning to pre..... “my” answer is yes. Eligard is out of my system @18mo’s now, @ equal to the time I was on it. Been doing rehab (low dose Viagra every PM and vac pump 3 times a week (1 hour each, cycling on and off 10min intervals)) for about 9mo’s. Testicles are normal now and penis is improving ... likely 1/2 way to before.
My T is still pretty low @390 and likely causing my ED to persist so I’m not expecting full recovery but will take all I can get!!!

Good points! Btw, Firmagon for 1 mo and 9 devastating mos on Lupron. Last injection was May 2019. T has inched (no pun intended) up to...wait for it..129 (after more than a yr off of Lupron).
So, men, "use it or lose it"...literally.
Hope u r correct re return of size.
During radiation and ADT, I, too, exercised a lot. Did little for me physically but really helped with emotional issues. Now, walking regularly.
PS: This isn't much fun. LOL
Oh, "discovered" medical marijuana. Gummies, soft gels. Big help.

Except the semi morning election which are not erotic and that weird yo-yo effect I don’t have any libido.
Morning erections are a great sign that functioning will return.
The semi-erection of the morning seems to disapear slowly. I am on my 15th week of ADT (Lupron Depot). I calculate that on November 16th, the Lupron Depot will be over. Now HOW LONG will the effect be active?
Since I was on Lupron Depot for 24 weeks, I read that it can be another 6 month after the November 16th.
Anybody that had been on Lupron Depot for 6 months(24 weeks) would know.
I know that we are all different, but it would give me an idea.

Wish i could say it dissipates quickly; it does for some, I'm sure.
For me? Not so much. Last Lupron May 2019; 3 mo duration. In theory.
Still experience side effects, including hot flashes.
Genital atrophy. But can experience orgasm...for whatever that's worth at this point.

So it means that even after 16 months, you still get some secondary effects of the Lupron Depot. So your genitalia did not come back as they were before ?

Lupron was supposed to begin disappearing in Aug 2019. It's now 13 months later. Some side effects (depression and despair; joint pain; insomnia; extreme fatigue) are gone. But, other side effects continue (wt gain, hot flashes). And, no, smaller genitals continue.
I'm glad I'm as old as I am. A much younger man would be totally bummed out.

On my 17 weeks on Lupron Depot, my testicules have shrinked and sometime disapeared in the inguinal channel. My scrotum too had shrinked.
Curious: I have lost 15 pounds since the begining of the ADT.
SE: Hot flashes, Mood swings, Crying for no reason, weakness generalysed and fatigue.
Yeah I finished ADT (Zoladex) In May 2020, my testicles also have more or less disappeared and no signs of them coming back yet :-(. Do they come back? Eventually?
Just came back from my RO, He told me that my enphysema has worsen. Now the good news:
PSA = 0.03 Testosterone = <0.2 nmol/L.
Next R/V in march 2021 in alternance with my Urologist.
Tomorrow morning at 11:40 am tele-R/V with my GP.
Just came back from my Urologist: Results = Cystoscopy in 4 to 6 weeks.
He thinks that my burning sensation may be due to RT but he wants to be sure it is not my Chronic Renal Insuffisancy that starts to act.So I am getting my next month with a vaccination then a cystoscopy and a bunch of blood tests.
Latest blood tests: PSA = 0.03 µg/L and T =<0.2 nmol/L or <5.7684 ng/dL.
Emphesema Gold Stage 3 on Ultibro/ID and Ventolin/PRN.
