It may also be beneficial for BPH - many men have both prostate cancer and BPH.

Very interesting for new patients. Thanks, TA.

Thank you for yet another useful post. Is someone at UCLA tracking this? Do you know of any way to get this FT treatment pretty soon? Or do guys on AS (like me) just have to wait a few years until the FDA clears it?
Thank you.
You can try the manufacturer, NYMOX, to see if you can get an injection for compassionate use. They haven't even begun Phase 3 trials for AS, so that is many years away. My guess is that it will probably be approved for BPH within a couple of years. There are no open clinical trials for it either.

Thank you for that useful information – and for your ingenious idea. Compassionate use for PCa? Since my tumor is deemed stable on my annual MRIs, it’s hard to make a case for urgent intervention. Compassionate use for BPH seems more justifiable, in my case. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with hydronephrosis in one kidney, so the need to fix my BPH is more urgent. The PAE I had 2 months ago feels like it’s helping reduce LUTS, but is it enough to save the kidney? Maybe not. That’s the reason for my keen interest in FT. Do you think this might be a persuasive basis for compassionate use?
Thanks for sharing! Your expertise and knowledge is appreciated by many.
Well T_A!
I would think that anyone who chooses an ablation might also benefit from FT injection as a prophylactic type of measure.
Thanks for post!
If done one should insist that Cefdinir or Rocephin to be used to prevent sepsis rather than a fluoroquinolone.

It is not combined with ablation. It solves the problems of ablation -- it would be foolish to do both.
In the thousand men tested they did not have even a single problem with sepsis. I think they know what they're doing.
