What next?

I had my Prostate removed about two years ago, then I did external beam radiation last year. Now my PSA is rising in the last 6 months from .1 to .27

My question is, what should I do next and when?

I will have another PSA Test in June and when it is high enough the Doctor wants to do a PET scan and maybe do some more external beam radiation.

Any other options?

Your PSA is still low. A small increase like yours could be caused by inflammation. If your PSA does rise significantly you still have the option of going on ADT drugs i.e. casodex, zytiga or xtandi.

I'm sorry that the SRT didn't work. Was it whole pelvic or just the prostate bed? That's a fairly rapid rise in PSA, which is an indication that it may be time to start ADT (which may be intermittent).

Genetic testing may be useful for determining an effective treatment plan.

Gotta give us more info (please). Age, Location, Gleason, Treatment location, Treatments to date, Doctor's name(s)? All info is voluntary but it helps us help you and helps us too. Thank you....
