Replacement of Bicalutamide

and (God forbid a toxic Nilutamide).

While visiting relatives in Europe

my Urologist there was suggesting ;

KETOCONAZOLE

As a Bicalutamide replacement.

I am still on 4 month LUPRON .

Any experience or comment on this please.

Thanks and greetings to all !

Victor

it's an old drug, that, like Zytiga, prevents the adrenals from producing androgens. Zytiga is more powerful.

Thanks Tall Allen

Will see if my Canadian Medical insurance

would cover the Zytiga

In Europe a month supply cost close to 4,000.00 Euro

Hi Victor,

Why did you say that Nilutamide is toxic?

Good health to you.

I was on Nilutamide. I am one of the lucky ones that it caused damage to my lungs. I had to stop it.
