Kindly advise what do you mean it stop working? Are you moving on to another new treatment? FYI, I have just started my Zytiga this month.

As I indicated in my first reply was that Zytiga worked for me for about 18 months, then my PSA started to rise again. My doctor then put me on Xtangi which did not work at all, my PSA kept rising. You always hope that these medications will work for a long time, but I've found that eventually, the cancer mutates and finds another way to continue to grow. I'm now doing ChemoTherapy using Docetaxel. I've been in stage IV of metastatic prostate cancer for 8 years. Life is still good and I plan on living many more years despite this disease.

Best Wishes and I hope all goes well for you.

This week finishing one month on Zytiga along with Casodex. Adding Zytiga dropped PSA from 21 to 4.5 after just two weeks. Testing again this week. So far so good, T is < 10, so it’s really knocked down my T quickly.
