Would really like to have the best prostate oncologist and prostate radiologist recommendations for Philadelphia and New Jersey and New York. Gleason 9-10 and had Davinci robotic surgery. Now PSA rising and will need best doctors that are informed and keep you alive with some quality. Also a doctor that is a expert in prostate cancer and connected to clinical trials. Thank you. If you’ve had many years then that’s what I would want to hear about . Thank you so much!!!!!

Thank you RichNJ! Is that who you’re seeing? What is your history if you don’t mind sharing?

I lead an Us Too support group in my area and several members were patients of Dr. Myers. I am familiar also with several more of his patients belonging to another Us Too group. Some of these men tried other oncologists but were disappointed and found Dr. Drake more appropriate to their needs. While I know that you asked about the NY-Phil. area, you might look into Dr. Kwon at the Mayo Clinic in MN. Two members were his patients and were very pleased with their results.

I would strongly recommend:

Dr. David Lee,

Chief, Division of Urology

Associate Professor of Surgery

Penn Presbyterian Medical Center

Philadelphia, PA 19104

215-662-8699

He performed my RP and is considered the best in the Philadelphia area.

Thank you so much Larry!! Do you see a prostrate oncologist or radiologist there. May I ask your history and how long ago your surgery was?

My surgery took place 10/31/2017. My Gleason score was 4+3 and my PSA had rapidly risen over 9 months

I did not see an oncologist but two urologists who specialized in prostate cancer and spoke to a radiologist. After reviewing my options, it was clear that I wanted RP performed by Dr. Lee..

A Decipher biopsy, taken after my prostate was removed, showed I was high risk.

How are you doing? Hoping you are doing well! I am writing because I need a top notch radiation oncologist now . I know how highly you recommended Dr Lee. I wonder if it would be possible to ask him who he would recommend for salvage radiation. I would really appreciate this so much because it is close by. Or anyone in Southern New Jersey area. Thank you Thank you.
