I've been surviving pc since 1996. Currently on intermittent hormone therapy.

Steve, Glad that you have become a PC vet.  Sixteen years on hormone therapy is a very long time.  Why have you remained on for so long?

JoelT, surgery & radiation didn't eliminate pc. When PSA climbs up I get a 3 month dose of hormone therapy once or twice. Then I'm good for a year or so. Dr says it doesn't work as well on everyone.

Each therapy works differently for each of us.  So far for me I have had over ten years  of hormone therapy working, for others it does not work at all.   I wish you a long time on effective hormone therapy.
