I am 6 weeks pregnant, got a brown discharge, what does it mean?

Could be an implantation bleed if u Google it there is some info. .Could be The egg attaching to ur womb, but any bleeding of any sort should be checked out so best see ur g.p.. They usually arrange a scan to check everything is Ok x

I've already had the implementation bleed at start of pregnancy so sure it's not that . Thanks tho, I've been to A&E and getting a scan tomorrow. I am hoping it's just old blood from my cervix or unexplained.

Would your period have been due? Sometimes body I think get confused. I hope it nothing & all best with your scan, you are early so don't be alarmed if you have a recall a week or so later x

I bleed for 4 weeks from the day after my period was Due, pink red and Brown blood they said they didn't know I think it was hormones but who knows hope scan goes well xx

I had 'spotting' alot when I missed my first period, then once a week I'd get another dollop of brown blood, and then again another load on my second missed period. They sent me for a scan and the little tadpole is in the right place happily bedded down - the midwife said its quite normal for some women to 'spot' as long as the blood always stays brown its fine. I'm nine weeks now, and not had any spotting this week, but it doesn't scare me anymore if I do see any brown blood.

Thanks for all the messages, pregnancy support are doing a scan tomorrow , just not feeling too well, headache, slight temp but hopeful everything will be ok

Hope all is well. I lost 2 little babies in 2011, both times i bled brown discharge / blood before the actual loss took place. Please please remember brown blood is "old" blood. If in doubt ALWAYS get checked out. Please dont think I am doing this to scare, I just would not want anyone to go through the pain I did. A scan with any type of bleeding brown or red will always put your mind at rest. All my best to you. X

Thanks , it is not clear as 1st scan nothing , hcg levels static at 450 and this week they can see something in the womb? Not sure why or what possibly old tissue
