14 weeks pregnant and brown discharge

Was just wondering if anyone else as had light brown discharge when they wipe at 14 weeks pregnant.? I've not been well for a few days with a UTI on antibiotics and when i wipe getting light driwn discharge and very worried something is wrong. Any advice would be appreciated

I'm not sure but I thought brown blood meant it was old blood....

Hi was told it was because i have a uti been put on antibiotics and everything has been ok since . .Thank you for asking . Xx

Have you already had your 12 week scan? I would report any bleeding regardless or red or brown blood to your midwife and get it checked out.

Yes had a private and nhs scan and was told everything looked fine but that was 2 and 3 weeks ago . Going to call my midwife in morning to be on safe side x

I had brown discharge in my pregnant up to about 16 weeks, it was worrying but I was fine in the end.I would still call your midwife to discuss, I did when it happened to me and luckily they got me in for an extra scan.

Hi, I had the same problem at 15 weeks pregnant. And after a few days it was gone. This would be old blood. But you must go to the hospital for a check-up. It is better to consult your doctor. Don't take stress. Just relax and relax. May god bless you.

I have brown discharge as well. I am 12 weeks and was due for my first scan tomorrow but have come down with covid! I'm so worried but the EPU have said that it could be old blood but if I have "period blood" then go straight to A&E. I've just got to hold on until I test negative before I can have a scan to check. This is my first baby and took so long to fall pregnant. So scared.
