Hello - I'm absolutely amazed to find out my wife is pregnant ... Question is when to tell parents ?

Congratulations 1st of all.

whenever you feel the time is right. Many expectant parents do like to wait a few wks "in case of any unexpected situations" but if you feel ready to tell them then YEAH! Go for it.

Hi, congratulations! Hold on to your hat - you're in for a crazy and wonderful pregnancy ride, dads have a very important job too

Whenever you're comfortable is the answer to your question. Your wife will have her first scan at roughly 12 weeks and the chance of miscarriage dramatically reduces at this point too so many people (myself included) wait until this point to spill the baby beans. I did tell my mum straight away though, with both of my pregnancies

So long as you're both in agreement I see no harm in telling them before 12 weeks if you want to x

I aggree wiv wat u said lv Im in same boat lv I told everyone I was pregnant at 6 wk with my second bby I was so exited so I went docs to do a test n it was negative I want happy I did 3 positive tests so I must of been loosing it 2 days later I bled bt im glad it happend then n nt wen had bby it wud hurt mre bt 6 mnth lata I found out I was pregnant again with a beautiful healthy bby boy who is nw 5 mnth old im glad nw I gt 1 of each my lil girl is 4 in may it goes so quick but I wnt b avin anymore kids lol no mata ow much I lv them its so hard work I gt post nataldeppresion wiv 2nd im just geting bk to normal nw bt I do recremd that ppl should tell friends n family atleast when ad 1stscani was stupid but exited n it always comes out the worst wen u tell ppl early I knw xxx

It did my ed in so much wen I was pregnant with my 1st ad keep going for scans every wk as my lil girl wasnt growing wen I ad her she was 5lb 1 oz wich scared me she was so tiny but she made up for it nw lol n wen was pregnant wiv my lil boy had to keep avin scans to check him aswell which as put me of pregnancy for life it hurt so much when went for scan for my lil boy he was same small but I went for a last scan on the tuesday 3rd november. 2012 he had grown so they let me go full turm I was so happy coz they stared me of wiv my lil girl n I didnt knw wat to expect on my own which I ad 18 days left but I stared on the sunday 11th. So I went 9 days early n its in my jeans I will always have little babys my sisters the same but all my kids r healthy n so proud them started geting pains at 10 wasnt strong then at half 11 my waters broke then my pains got worse but could control them better than my 1st I was in agony couldnt talk to midwife so I gt my partner to ring midwife at 11:45 coz I couldnt cope wiv pain they was a lil worse wiv 1st n plus got after pains wiv 2nd n wen I ad him fort I was in labour again lmfao they told me go in at 12 they examined me told me I was 8 cm I was so happy they rushed me to delivery suit were I ad my bby boy at 10 past 1 I ad 2 puffs gas n air wich was gd I av ad easy labours 2 hrs 20 mins wiv 1st n 3 hrs 10 mins wiv 2nd but all labours nt same it horrible bt u get the best gift ever n I wish every 1 the best pregnancy ever bt mine I hated being pregnant all through my pregnany had to have scans I couldnt enjoy being pregnant coz k

Wen was pregnant with both tho I wasnt sickat all was ill with my 1st ad all the pregnancy symptons bt with my lil boy I didnt av any symptons atall just really bad period pains all time like I was guna loose him again I kept geting checked out bt he was fine bt it scary he neva use move aswell he was so lazy if anyone knew wat both my pregnancys was like ud feel sorry for me but im done now im 23 in 2 wk n my lil girl is growing up. So im going to enjoy my babys coz it goes so fast il b 40 b4 I knw it n it scary lol but then I will have my life bk ppl should av kids young I would say dny av um just coz everyonr else has them have them wen u ready coz these days there nothing for them but kids r so funny n great n lovely evertine who is pregnant for 1st time enjoy n a big congratulations gud luk x

Congratulations, to be honest what ever you decide will be right, there is no wrong answer! My husband and are waiting for his mums 70th birthday, so instead of a specific time in the pregnancy we have gone with a special event!

A big congratulations I found out I was pregnant at 6 week with my second child but lost it coule days after was gutted but wasnt meant to be I told everyone coz I was so exited that I was pregnant again but then had to trll them all I lost it which no1 believed me but I dnt care f **k um I have a beautiful healthy little girl who is 4 in may n 6 month after I lost my 2nd I found out I was pregnant again I never missed a period I took a test 1 day b4 my missed period n it was positive I was scared to tell people incase I lost it again so I saved all my tests I did to prove I was pregnant n nwi have a healthy beautiful 5 month old bby boy I wouldnt recromend u tell anyone till 1st scan I was stupid n exited but at end of day it up to u if u want tell ppl then do it gd luk n wish u n ur gf all the best keep us updated on wat u av x
