First Scan What to Expect

Hello, I wonder what will happen in first scan. According to LMP I am 11 weeks now, according to ovulation 9 weeks. Do they make blood test as well?

your first scan is in theory ur dating scan so they should be able to give you a due date. I did have blood tests but that was for the combined screening test for down syndrome which you don't have to have and you get the results within a week and I also had blood tests but I cant remember exactly what they were for it feels ages ago even tho it was only a month.

Is the scan like 15 minutes?

yeh like 15/20 minutes, u can see your baby and then they will measure by taking various pics of the baby and the lady that did mine was very nice and pointed out all the bits like arms and legs even tho it was quite obvious but was still nice. The screening test is just a blood test then if they need to do further investigation then they do more tests but thankfully i didnt need to. Then I went out and had to a urine sample and blood tests and that was it, was probably at the hosp for about 90mins.
