The sac...

I am going to have another scan this week, which should make me close to 6 weeks. As i am still so early, do you think i'll only be able to see the sac again?

From 6 weeks you should be able to see the heartbeat....but yes is very early I was nearly 7 and saw the heartbeat and my little bean.....the previous scan was 5 weeks 6 days and they couldn't see heartbeat, just really depends on when you conceived...x

Hi Sar, well i went to the hospital as my doctors were busy, as i had some intermittent bleeding and pains early on. They also found a 10cm cyst on my ovary, so are keeping an eye on it. This will be my second scan, and probably my last till 12 weeks. Kinda why i'd love to see a heartbeat... Not worrying too much, what will be, will be.

Aaah...i see!! How are you feeling now?

I had an early scan at about 7.5 weeks because they couldn't date my pregnancy as i hadn't had a period for like 5 months (the wonderful side effects of having been on the pill for 12 years!! never again!). Anyway at 7.5 weeks there was already a strong little heartbeat so hopefully you will hear one, or if not, at least hopefully you will see your little splodge! You have a wonderful positive attitude which is so nice to see

I am now 30 weeks and little beanie is getting fat and won't stay still!

Ok, so i wrote a nice long reply, and it didn't send!! I'll start again...

Wow no period for 5 months, very lucky! I wonder why that was? I can imagine you're looking glowing at 30 weeks. Is this your first? Are you enjoying being pregnant? High's and lows?

Well, you wouldn't of said that yesterday, as i was having a seriously low day. These things they call hormones, are not fun! Today i am feeling good though. I also learnt that getting too hung up and stressed about things that are happening is not worth it. You read so many stories on here, but you have to rememeber that everyone is different so you should just listen to your body.

So i see you're not far from me, maybe we can share stories, and experiences along the way!

Hate it when that happens! hehe...

Well i guess it was nice not to have a period but because we were trying for a baby it wasn't great as i couldn't work out when i was ovulating, and it just frustrated me, plus my skin had broken out and hormones were all over the place. Unfortunately that's quite common when you've been on the pill for so long and have just come off it. In hindsight I should have come off it sooner but people were scaring me saying that I could fall pregnant straight away etc and we were planning the wedding so didn't want that to happen!

Haha...well not sure about glowing but i'm definitely growing! I have really enjoyed being pregnant to be honest. I know i'm really going to miss my bump when it goes.

I felt my best in the 2nd trimester as I had lots of energy and felt completely normal.To be honest I haven't had any symptoms the whole way through so have been pretty lucky. It's only now that I'm starting to feel a little more tired and achey because of the extra weight and pressure on my legs but only have 6 more weeks left at work so just counting down the days now I work in London so it's getting a little harder now.

How about you, is it your first? Yes definitely, would be lovely to keep in touch!

You are so right - it's so easy to fly into a panic, especially with everyone always so willing to share horror stories (although this website is pretty useful I reckon). I would never google anything though, i'd be a nervous wreck!

Have just been doing a bit of research this weekend into car seats and bases - there's so many, it's confusing!
