I did a online ovulation calculator and it said my next ovulation is on 12th January. I just want to know has anyone else use this method to conceive before and how reliable is it? Thankz ladies :)

I have used the ovulation tests twice now. I think they are uery effective. Worked first time for my now 6 year old and first time again recently and am 8 weeks now.

I have tried the online calculator before but had no luck, but my periods are very irregular. I have just bought some of the clear blue tests to use this month, I found them online for 7 tests it was £15. Good luck

It's difficult to work out properly because you just can't see whats happening inside. I found trying to calculate my ovulation never really worked. On the other hand my friend used the clearblue ovulation tests and got pregnant first time round! The problem i had was that after coming off the pill my periods were all over the place and it made it harder to try and calculate anything! I know it may sound like a cliche but i honestly found that as soon as i stopped trying to plan and work out my cycle I fell pregnant! I'm now 21 weeks! Best of luck conceiving xxx

Hiya, I've downloaded an app for my phone where you put your periods in and it works it out month by month, and then changes when you are pregnant to a countdown thing. I havnt had any luck as of yet but I was on the depo so I think my periods are still trying to sort them selves out.

Good luck trying anyway :)

Hey thanks ladies for your reply. I also wanted to know some of you mention that you bought clear blue ovulation kits. Where did you buy these kits from and how much testes where there in one kit?Being trying for a year now and cost doesn't really matter.
