are online ovulation calculator accurate? because if i’ll compare it to my Flo app, my ovulation days are different from each other.. i don’t know which one to follow though. thank you

Online ovulation calculators can only predict the average women’s ovulation day. Even if you put in your period dates etc it’ll calculate your cycle length but can only ‘predict’ your ovulation day. You need to get some ovulation sticks and test yourself.

For example I’ve been following Flo since I miscarried last year and since I’ve got ovulation sticks I actually ovulate a whole day before Flo’s predictions so I was missing my ovulation day every month...

When you get a positive ovulation test is means that you will ovulate in the next 36 hours, it doesnt necessarily mean that day xx

I’m sure we only ovulate for 12-24 hours. If you get a positive test I think 36 hours would be too late but I’m only using online guidance...

This is what my fertility specialist told me. After a positive test, you will ovulate by 36 hours, its not necessarily how long it takes. But if you have sex too far after that then it's going to be less successful xx

Hi, I would suggest to try using the strips. Ovulation calculators only predict your ovulation day, but it might change. After my MC, the first cycle, I ovulated 2 days before the app predicted. So the app is good but you need to use the strips to be at least a little bit more confident on your ovulation day
