The past two weeks I’ve been using ovulation strips and the test line was super faint! Today I took one because all that time I didn’t understand why they didn’t get darker! Did I miss the actually day when I peaked or the couple of days before! I’m sure I didn’t! Anyone like I said I took one today and the lines are both the same colour! I don’t understand how this can be when I’m due to come on, on Sunday! I’ll post a pic! Has this happened to anyone else! I’m so confused! They say ovulation is 12-14 days before your next period! Please someone help me out!

You can definitely ovulate later or earlier than the average. I’ve used these strips with both my pregnancies and they’ve worked for me. I used them twice a day as the peak in hormones is really short and easy to miss. I’d say get on it ASAP! Good luck.
Hi thanks for your message I was pretty sure I had already ovulated but missed taking the strips so couldn’t be sure! I never ovulate late or early that’s why I was so confused seeing them lines yesterday! I heard about ovulation test strips picking up hcg as well lh surge so I decided to take a pregnancy test last night and I could see the faintest line only when I lifted it up in the light. I took another one this morning with first urine and it was a positive! I was shocked because I honestly thought I missed my peak ovulation days because I didn’t test on them days! Lovely surprise!
The sticks also pick up pregnancy hormones. The month I got pregnant I tried the ovulation sticks daily but didnt pick up a peak at all but diligently kept up the baby dance every 2-3 days anyway. I got pregnant that cycle.
I'd try a proper pregnancy test. Fingers crossed for you.
