Went to the doctors on Friday morning as keep bleeding all the time light bleeds. Had 8 days free after bleeding continuously for 12 days, then started bleeding again on Thursday morning. But Friday night/Saturday morning now bleeding really heavy, changing pad every hour on more. Is this just a period? I have very little pain & no other period symptoms. Trying to rest but every time I move feel blood rushing out? Should I go to a& e? Please help! Feel alone. X

15 wks after giving birth, Breastfeeding completely, been bleeding on & off the whole time, now bleeding very heavy.
if i was in your shoes i would go to a and e just to be on the safe side and just to put your mind at rest, its a lot if your changing pad every hour, its only my opinion hun and others may say its normal but i am a natural born worrier lol so yea i would go to a and e,
what did your gp say just out of interest

Go said to leave it 2 wks, but that was when I was bleeding normal, not really heavy.
I agree with MMS, I'd be heading to A&E to be on the safe side. Fresh bouts of bleeding are one thing, but changing pad every hour may be a concern. Definitely get yourself to A&E if there are any large clots.
Take care

Phoned the doctors & they said to wait & c what happens. Thanks guys. X
Hello. I think you should call/see your Doctor then head straight to A&E. My sister, after having her 2nd child went through exactly the same thing. Big clots weeks after giving birth, it turned out the hospital had left some placenta in her after the birth. If this happens and is left it can cause major health problems and septecemia. I don't mean to alarm you, but I definitely think you should get this checked out. Hope this helps, Sammi x
sorry, didnt realise you had already contacted the docs. My sister had huge clots of blood, really heavy and non stop - if this happens I would suggest going straight to A&E. Sammi x
i agree with sammi_xx i would go straight to a&e x
