Can I be pregnant?

My partner & I had sex on the last day of my period (25th june) my periods are regular, only bleed for exactly 5 days, then exactly 22 days later I start my first day of bleeding, as of today 29th July I have not even got any signs of my period starting, is it possible we are pregnant?

Hi there have you done a test? I am usually quite regular, 27 days on average, but since I miscarried in June my cycles seem to be longer, I am now on 31 days so 4 days late but 2 negative tests so assuming my cycle is a bit off. I would take a test and see, bearing in mind that some of us don't secrete the hormone needed to pick up a pregnancy til later on. It's often a case of the waiting game, which I really do not enjoy! If from what you are saying the only time in that month you had sex with your partner was the last day of your period and no time between then the likelyhood of you being pregnant is small. If you started your period on 22 days later and it was a "real" period that would be about right 27 day cycle (mine is 28 days.) If it was spotting then take a pregnancy test and that will give you the answer you are looking for plain and simple as you will now be a few weeks pregnant past 5 weeks. If it was normal period then give it a go again around your ovulation (14 days from your 1st day of your last period.)

I just signed up for this site and Im really suprised by how many women on here have no idea how to add up their cycle dates to find out when periods are due or late! If you are trying to get pregnant that is the first thing someone should do with their partner is to sit and educate themselves on how it all works in the first place. Good luck.
