Painful and Irregular Periods

Hello all. I had a baby in June 2024 and I have been exclusively breastfeeding ever since then. My period came back with the same normal flow and a duration of three to five days with no cramps at all. That is exactly how it has always been just before I got pregnant. About a month after delivery, my period came back and it has been normal ever since until I decided to get an intrauterine device (IUD) in the first week of September. I was told the copper coil would make my period last longer, become heavier, and come with painful cramps. Ever since coil insertion, I haven't had my period but I have been having a lot of cramping. Finally, my period came late this October but after having excruciating cramps for the past four days, I have only lost a clot or two of blood per day, the actual period flow hasn't even started. Is this something I should be worried about or is it completely normal?
