The Eric website has some useful tips on potty training, it talks about children with development delays too, which might not be relevant to you, but the tips can apply to any child really. eric.org.uk/potty-training/
There's also the oh crap potty book, I've not read it myself but lot of people use it.
We found lots of nappy free time round the house and encouraging our kids to sit on the potty regularly really helped, once they were taking themselves to the potty regularly in the house we started taking them out and about in knickers and taking them to the toilet regularly. They now both ask when they need to go to the toilet.
We used choc buttons as an incentive, had a potty in each room.
1 for a wee on the potty and 3 for a poop, got our daughters engaged in it all pretty quickly and went pretty smoothly. Make sure you’re using pull ups though so they’re more like knickers rather than nappies.
If you have a doll potty maybe she could put her babies on their potty whenever she goes.
Good luck x
Some people would say to stop using nappies around the house and let them experience the discomfort of wetting their clothes. There is not much incentive to them to change their behaviour if they are kept dry and cosy in high absorbency nappies...
