I have PCOS and just got pregnant! I have cut out all gluten (which seemed to fix my infertility) and I’m hoping I carry a healthy pregnancy. But I am so scared with all my complications first time around!
just looking for any support from anyone who had high risk pregnancies!

I cried after my first obstetric appointment for my second child. It was so overwhelming and she must have used to word high risk about 30 times. There were 5 or 6 people in the room. I have sickle cell anaemia and in my first pregnancy had obstetric cholestasis, really high proteinuria and placental insufficiency. So this time I'm under two different obs teams, started heparin at 11 weeks instead of second trimester and having regular blood transfusions. It's a lot and was overwhelming at the start. I'm being very well looked after and I'm just so grateful I don't have to pay for all this as it would bankrupt me.
Anyway after that background I'm just trying to take things step by step. Every week is another milestone celebration for me. I try to just think to the next appt which is roughly every 2 weeks so just lots of little steps. I'm not eating as well as I'd like just because I'm so tired but I have continued to exercise and feel better for doing so.
