I’m 8w6d struggling with nausea for the past 2 weeks, I have tried rich tea biscuit before getting out of bed, but threw that up. Feel nauseous for about 10 hours a day. I’m going to the toilet and gipping. I also tried ginger biscuits but threw that up too. I’m a teacher so this is really tricky to hide but also keep doing my job. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

nausea
It’s awful isn’t it! Can you keep anything down? I find eating little and often, even if I really don’t want to eat due to nausea works (when I don’t want to eat due to feeling sick is usually when I really need to eat to feel a bit better!). I start with crumpets in bed (my husband gets them for me) and then have quite a lot of carbs through the day like pasta. I think just eat whatever you fancy a little bit as that’s what you’ll be able to get down. Eating frequently throughout the day is the only thing that has worked for me. If you can’t keep anything down then speak to your midwife/gp because you may need further treatment to avoid dehydration. I found it hard psychologically as well thinking omg I’m going to feel like this for the next however many months, but it does get easier to cope with when you work out what helps you, and I’m pretty much on the other side now.
Good luck!
I'm so sorry, I had it as well and it sucks. Go and see your GP and get some medication, it helps! Also drink coconut water, that really helped me. x
I feel your frustration. I'm a teacher too and 9 weeks pregnant. My sickness has been really affecting me at work, constant gagging especially around smells, which are constant with children. I spoke to my doctor and was given anti sickness tablets which have helped a little with the sensitivity to smells, but I still vomit every morning and when I get home from work. The thought of eating makes me feel queasy but it is the only thing that stops me being sick at work. I have been snacking on Go ahead biscuits at break times and for lunch, plain cold pasta (I know how exciting!) I've also been eating mints and sipping on carbonated drinks, so I have not had to tell anyone yet. My husband bought me Harribo sweets and I have found eating 1 or 2 before getting out of bed eases the queasiness. I know everyone is different but I hope this helps. x
I'm a teacher as well. All I can say is that it does get better. They cooked fish on Friday in the catering classes and at 24 weeks I was able to stomach the smell!
