Leg cramps?

Hi everyone, I've just joined here. I'm 10 weeks pregnant and having a bit of anxiety these days. Last night I had bad leg cramps throughout the night, I had to even put a pillow between my legs and not even that was helping me. Is this normal? Thank you

Hey congrats on your pregnancy. I don't know if its normal. But alot of things happen while pregnant. You should maybe speak to your gp about it x

Not sure how intense they are for you but I had leg cramps too and was sleeping with a pillow between my legs. I used to listen to a podcast on Spotify 'Is It Normal' as the host had many specialists discussing all kinds of topics and on some they provided reassurance but definitely speak with the GP/ Midwife... they need to be aware anyway .

I personally saw my GP about leg cramps in my first pregnancy. I wasn't prescribed anything and can't really remember now what the GP said but a trick I found online afterwards to stop the cramping if in the calf is to pull your foot up towards your knees. It stretches the calf muscle and stops the pain. This has helped cramping in my foot too. All three pregnancies it worked and also I'm now in my forth pregnancy and it stops the pain.
