Pregnant and had a fight with my partner

Hi all , just wondering if anyone has any advice? Basically I had a temporary but very stressful argument with my partner on Tuesday night . I am 21+5 weeks pregnant. I ended up crying hysterically for about half an hour before calming myself . Now I feel so guilty , I’m so afraid that I harmed my little baby in some way . I don’t even know what to do , all previous scans in the past have shown a healthy baby but what are the chances I’ve harmed my baby ?

An argument won’t have hurt your baby, don’t worry 😊 They will be absolutely fine. Xx

Thank you , I felt so guilty for getting upset and crying so much over nothing! It’s reassuring to know that baby wouldn’t be affected x

Please do not worry for your baby.Over pregnancy and after delivery the hormons change so much that I found myself crying a few times hysterically, especially after a fall, I didn't hit my belly at all but I was so worried I harmed my baby I cried a lot that day as well and finally calmed down after noticing that she was moving as normal. An argument and crying won't harm your baby and definitely try not to overstressing about it, it will be fine.

Ohh I am so sorry dear. But don't very your baby is good and fine. Don't worry and don't take tension or stress. I also faced the same problem when I was pregnant. But after baby arrived everything became beautiful and lovely. I m newly mom. 22day ago I had a c-section and my baby is healthy and fine. Even my pregnancy was also very stressful. So good luck for you and your baby I am sending my blessings to you.

Don't worry. It is normal and healthy to have emotions and to let them express themselves freely. What could have an impact is repeated, constant, chronic anxiety that would permanently change the mothers' stress levels and could affect the baby. A one off won't do any harm. I lost my dear hamster during pregnancy and I cried lots and lots and I was worried and guilty too. All is well now. I promise - don't worry : )
