C-section. Is it Infection or not?

Hello ladies, 22 days ago I had an emergency c-section. And now I have pain in my stitches and one stitch is red. So please tell me what is good for me. what can I do now.

See your doctor. They will swab it and see if there is an infection. Keep it clean and dry xx

I think it looks like you may still have a stitch that hasnt dissolved and is maybe getting irritated. I had something similar. Make an appt with your GP nurse. See where I've marked on your pic below.xx

Hope you get it sorted out! I had the same but due to covid I got told to pull mine out with some tweezers. It made all the difference.xx

Yesterday I called my GP he said Dr is busy till next week so call 111.

You could try your midwifes or the hospital to see what they say?!xx

Ok thanks for your suggestion, yesterday I took a hot water bath. Now I am feeling a little better. So should I go to the hospital or wait 2 or 3 days. Actually I don't have good experience with triage department. So I'm a little scared.

That's good if you are feeling better. Did you see if that was actually a little stitch still left in where I pointed out in my pic? Mine settled down after I took mine out. I think if you are feeling ok, not shivery and there is no discharge from the wound then you could hang off for a few days and see if it settles down.xx
