Hi, Im just wondering if theres anyone here in the same situation as me. My first day LMP was june 26, i never had period in July, took ovulation kit and was high peak on the 2nd of august and a faint positive on the 14th august. I think i have conceived on the 2nd august but i feel like it is a huge gap when they count my due date. And they book my scan in the next couple weeks but that would really mean that the baby is still very very tiny. Anyone else got pregnant in long cycle and had a very far different scan due date?
Thank you guys.

They don’t really seem to take cycle length into account. When you have your booking in appointment the midwife will still calculate your due date from the first day of your last period, but dating scan will be more accurate. It might mean that when you go at approx 12 weeks they see you aren’t as far along as predicted and you just go back a few weeks later for another look xx
Hey! Same with me but I'm on a 40 day cycle. I was 11 weeks at my 12 weeks dating scan, and was told to come in a week later so that measurements can be taken at the required baby length. They calculated the true due date then. I wouldn't worry about it, I was just happy to see them twice on the screen
