Congratulations on you pregnancy! First of all speak to your midwife or GP to rule out any serious condition. If they tell you it's nothing serious, "just" a pregnancy symptom then I recommend buying a pregnancy pillow for sleeping. Exercising your legs, e.g. walking a lot, doing pregnancy yoga. Resting with your feet up as often as possible might also help. And remember to drink enough water, your body needs more of it during pregnancy. Those things really helped me.

I agree. Heavy legs is definitely something I've experienced. A nice leg massage might also be welcome. If you're on your feet a lot for work aim to put your feet up (as in elevate them slightly) when you have a rest. Likewise, if you're sitting down a lot in the day, move about a bit more and avoid leg crossing to keep the circulation going. The veins in our legs have to work extra hard in pregnancy.
