I don't think anyone can give you a definite answer, but I would say if you're due on your period and have come on when you expected to I would say it's your period and that this is just the lining of your womb. I wouldn't bother taking a pregnancy test if you're having your period when you'd expect, but if this is unusual bleeding and you think you've missed a period and could be pregnant then it may be worth taking a test.

I had a baby 3 months ago If that could possibly have anything to do with it

If you had a baby 3 months ago your periods could definitely be heavier as your hormones settle down. It's quite common for those first periods to be heavy after birth. I was lucky because I didn't start my periods till baby was nearly a year old and came back like regular, for me breastfeeding held off my periods coming back, but I know that's not the same for everyone, my friend breastfeeds and her period was back after 12 weeks so it's very individual.

Is this your first period since birth or had your already started your periods again before?

If it's your first few periods back after baby, I would again think it's womb lining and not a miscarriage.

Is womb lining Normal?

All periods are your womb lining being flushed out, during your monthly cycle your womb lining thickens and if you get pregnant the egg implants itself into that thick womb lining. If pregnancy doesn’t happen, your body doesn’t need the thick lining so it breaks down, and the blood, nutrients, and tissue come out as your period.

I had something like this a while ago, it came out like a clump when on my period and when I looked at it it had veins and an alien shape can't quite describe it, but I thought it could be that ,however as I was on my period I think it was more the lining of the womb as its normal for it to come out like clots now and then. You could Google images it and compare it or seek professional advice
