Positive tests 7 weeks after MC?

Hi all.

I started miscarrying 7 weeks ago, when I was 5 weeks pregnant. At first GP thought all was ok then a week later it got heavier and confirmed MC.

3 weeks ago after it started I was still bleeding with pain and I got sent to hospital where I had a tonne of tests done and they said it was potentially an eptopic my body dealt with hence how long it took to expel from my body or an incomplete MC. I got sent home as no signs of infection and told to monitor pregnancy tests for my negative.

So 3 weeks have passed nearly I need to call hospital this week and I’m still getting very faint positives!

I had signs of ovulation 9 days ago EWCM. 3 weeks ago my HCG from bloods was 60. But reading online you can’t ovulate until HCG is less than 5 and I’ve done a test every day and only had one that was faint enough i thought it was negative.

I’ve attached last few days. I don’t think I’m pregnant again but why is it taking my body so long to MC? Has anyone had any experiences of this?

To add - they aren’t evap lines as they show almost instantly.
