So this is a sensitive subject, but I have had the coil fitted yesterday and I am getting used to it, but I was wondering how women coped with tampon use and sexual experiences with the coil, was it difficult was there problems? I don’t need mega details but just an overview of their experience with it,

Never had any problems with either. I had the Mirena coil so very rarely had periods that needed a tampon, just a liner really. It didn't affect sex at all I did find it took a few days to settle down after it was in, but I had two and both times it never affected sex, it's only the threads that remain in your cervix, you can't feel the actual coil itself.

It's shouldn't affect these, as the coil is in the uterus whereas sex/tampons are related to the vagina. As seb9 said only the strong should be in the cervix and if these are too long they can trim them.
