Post partum hair loss, has anyone experienced this? Is there anything for it and how long does it last?

Post Partum hair loss, has anyone experienced this? Is there anything for it and how long does it last? I am 4 months post partum had a healthy pregnancy where my hair was amazing but after baby I lose so much daily

I had post partum hair loss, it's one of those things that no one tells you about, and it can be quite distressing. I remember mine falling out in big clumps in the shower. It didn't last long, and my hair has now grown back a year later x

Ah I see, glad your hair grew back fully. Suppose I will have to ride this wave

Yes and it was awful, handfuls of hair coming out every hair wash 🙈. The good news is that it stopped for me between 5/6 months pp. Apparently you don’t lose hair when your pregnant so it all goes after you have the baby.

Hope it stops soon x

Yes me too I get clumps of hair in my hair brush after a shower with wet hair.. I'm 4 months pp so hopefully not long until it stops . Thank you

Hello I'm still losing hair and my little one is 7 months but it's gradually reducing. I don't think there's anything you can do. It's a weird side effect of pregnancy I never knew about but it was nice having thicker hair during pregnancy!
