I'm so sorry for your loss. Pregnancy hormones can take some time to settle down which means you can still get symptoms and positive tests. I assume you had an ultrasound to confirm.
I'd probably wait another couple of weeks to check again, and if still positive you could speak to your doctor for a blood test so you can have an actual no. For your hormone level.
Best of luck.
Hi there I’m sorry to read about your loss and I hope you’re doing ok, given the circumstances.
I also had a loss at almost 13 weeks (a missed miscarriage) back I august and all I wanted was to find answers online about when the symptoms would stop - but everyone is different!
For me, symptoms stopped around 2 weeks after surgery and HCG dropped after 5 weeks to a negative test. It completely depends on how far along you were, what experience you had and your body. I did however speak to my doctor in that time who told me to check in if I was still getting positive tests at 6 weeks.
I think in your case, it’s good you’ve had the negative test that’s one thing down, just the symptoms to go.
In my experience it was just patience and a waiting game, as hard as that is. You will get back to normal soon.
All the best.
Yes it stays for awhile after the hormones drop pretty fast just give it a week or so. Don’t fill your self with false hope hun if the dr says you miscarried it’s 99% accurate. Sorry for your loss I lost my son may 27th 2020 was a horrible horrible thing to happen!! I had to push him out then still needed a d&c
