Empty gestational sac at 8weeks/non viable pregnancy

I am 8weeks pregnant. Had brown spotting at 4weeks. At 6weeks I had pink spotting for 3days. Went for my first scan and they could only see empty gestational sac with no embryo or fetal pole.

I was asked to come for second scan which I did at 8weeks and still no fetal pole or embryo seen. The gestational sac increased in size and the radiologist declare the pregnancy NONVIABLE.

Had anyone experienced this before. I’ve given up already and planning on going for the D&C but my hubby said I should try transvaginal scan to be sure.

Please could they be a possibility of the baby developing late? Have anyone experienced this and what was the outcome. Please I need help

I would ask for another scan I had four scans by 8 weeks as too early then no fetal pole then they told me I was miscarrying and be prepared I’m sat at home with a baby just gone one they can’t say no to another scan I think it’s six weeks or seven weeks they see fetal pole so if dates r out slightly that cud throw scan I had three different dates before my 12 weeks scan wishing you all the best and hope you get the news your after xxxx

Usually they scan u 2w after to see growth, even if you were 2weeks behind you should have measured 6w at your next scan. I’ve had 2 blighted ovum’s mc at 12w it’s so sad. Did they not do a trans vag scan originally normally they do before8w as it’s so small it’s hard to see.

I did the transvaginal scan to be sure and they found the fetal pole but no heart beat. Missed abortion was the conclusion. Going for a surgery to take it out.
